Building Resilience Through Three Connected Pillars
Growing up in an AI-integrated, algorithm-driven world creates specific challenges: dysregulated nervous systems, algorithmic thinking, and disconnection from real relationships. KHARTS' three integrated pillars address all of this—together, not separately. Each pillar is powerful alone. Together, they build the deeper resilience younger generations need.
Sustainability, Mental Health & Resilience, and Living Beings - Connections aren't separate focuses—they're three expressions of the same crisis: disconnection. Together, they build deeper resilience.
-
Sustainability: Teaches that you understand systems and have agency within them
-
Mental Health: Restores nervous systems dysregulated by algorithms
-
Living Beings: Develops genuine empathy and recognition of your place in living systems
When integrated, they create what kids actually need.

Our Programs
Adult Supervision Required: All KHARTS programs require continuous adult supervision and are not designed for independent participation by children.

Rooted & Resilient
Every breath your child takes was made by a plant, and every breath out feeds one back. Hand on bark, kids discover they're breathing in partnership with every plant around them, then learn a calming Tree Breath they can carry anywhere.

Calm in a Blue Sky
Lie back, look up, and let worries shrink. Watching birds, insects and drifting clouds, kids find that the sky is full of life, and that its vastness naturally settles a busy mind and puts big feelings into perspective.

Leaf Stories
Three leaves or thirty, every one has a story. Kids become leaf detectives, using all five senses to read the clues in color, shape, holes and veins, and uncover how a single leaf feeds the air we breathe.

What's Under Our Feet
Beneath every step is a hidden world. Kids kneel down to meet the soil's busy neighbors (worms, pill bugs, fungi and roots), discover how nature recycles fallen leaves into new life, and feel what it means to be truly grounded.
